Occupational Therapy Services
The Occupational Therapy service offers a range of assessments and individualised rehabilitation programs for people with acquired brain injury.
Comprehensive OT assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools:
· Personal activities of daily living
· Domestic / instrumental activities of daily living (including house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry,
money handling / budgeting, computer use, grocery shopping)
· Cognitive skills (including memory, attention, insight)
· Upper limb (including strength, coordination, sensation)
· Cognitive and functional memory rehabilitation programs carried out in the real life context
· Individualised upper limb rehabilitation programs, including hyper tonicity management and splinting
· Comprehensive care needs assessments
