Vocational Rehabilitation Services

• Vocational Rehab needs assessment (determine current vocational rehabilitation needs)
• Programs aimed at clients who are at risk of losing their job
• Graduated return to work programs (suitable duties plan, support and monitoring)
• Work Training/trial search, set up and monitoring
• Education and liaison with employers
• Workplace assessment
• Workplace rehabilitation eg cognitive strategy training, education of co-workers
• Job search, resume skills training and linking to agencies
• Co-ordination of other professionals to provide as necessary:
  • Vocational assessment (co-ordinate vocational counsellor to provide to determine appropriate vocational options post injury)
  • Functional/Physical capacity review (for particular job)
