Occupational Therapy Services

The Occupational Therapy service offers a range of assessments and individualised rehabilitation programs for people with acquired brain injury.

  • Comprehensive OT assessments using standardised and non-standardised tools:
    • Personal activities of daily living
    • Domestic / instrumental activities of daily living (including house cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, money handling / budgeting, computer use, grocery shopping)
    • Cognitive skills (including memory, attention, insight)
    • Upper limb (including strength, coordination, sensation)
  • Cognitive and functional memory rehabilitation programs carried out in the real life context
  • Individualised upper limb rehabilitation programs, including hypertonicity management and splinting.
  • Comprehensive care needs assessments
